The People, Technology & Analytics (PAT) team is the operational backbone of Credit Karma's People Team. You will be inheriting a well-oiled machine composed of highly capable leaders who own their respective functions. The PAT team's vision is to be a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the People Team and the broader organization, delivering operational excellence, innovative technology solutions, and data-driven insights that empower employees and drive business success. The team thrives on collaboration, recognizing that their work is highly interconnected, and will look to you for strategic guidance, mentorship, and partnership in solving complex challenges.

What you'll do:
Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a high-performing team of five functional leaders across People Technology, People Analytics, Programs & Governance, Contingent Workforce, and Immigration
Set the vision and strategic roadmap for the People Operations function, ensuring alignment with the broader People Team and company objectives, and being a partner to our colleagues at Intuit
Oversee the People Technology portfolio, partnering with HRIS and other stakeholders to prioritize and execute key initiatives, such as the ongoing evolution of our Betterworks implementation and the automation of onboarding/offboarding processes in Workday
Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making, leveraging our People Analytics function to deliver critical reporting and insights to Executive Leadership as well as People Leadership Team
Drive operational excellence and scalability across all functions, including budget and vendor management, the Contingent Workforce Program (CWP), and our HR service delivery model, HR Connect
Ensure enterprise-wide compliance and risk mitigation across all people processes, including SOX and FTC audits, and all aspects of our employee-related immigration program
Serve as a key member of the People Leadership Team, acting as a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, and operational strategy
Foster strong, collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams including HRIS, Finance, Legal, and our counterparts at Intuit to drive results and navigate complex, high-stakes projects
What we're looking for:
10+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, HR Technology, or a similar domain
5+ years of formal people leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop other leaders
What we would like to see:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Hands-on experience with analytics and visualization tools such as Visier
Proven success leading People Operations functions through periods of significant change
Experience in a fast-paced, global technology organization
A data-driven, systems-thinking approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage ambiguity and complexity
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and credibility at all levels, including with senior executives
Exceptional analytical skills with mastery of Google Sheets (and, more broadly, Google Workspace), and a proven ability to build dashboards and leverage data to tell stories and drive decisions
Deep understanding of HR technology (Workday preferred), systems, and implementation lifecycles
Strong knowledge of US employment laws and compliance requirements
