Service Desk Analyst - 1st Line Support

Are you passionate about solving IT problems and being the first line of support for end users? We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Service Desk Analyst to join our team and provide essential technical support across the business.

Role Overview

As a Service Desk Analyst, you'll be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing timely and effective support to end users. You'll handle hardware, software, and basic network troubleshooting, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the initial contact for IT support, logging and resolving incidents and service requests.
Provide 1st line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues remotely or escalate to 2nd/3rd line support as needed.
Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
Monitor and manage End User Compute equipment stock levels.
Request and coordinate procurement of additional IT hardware when required.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.

About You

Previous experience in a 1st line IT support or service desk role.
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
ITIL Foundation or similar certification (desirable but not essential).
