Position Summary

Execute hands-on logistics and coordination of liquid-cooled AI server rack installations in data center environments. Handle physical deployment, positioning, and setup of high-value AI infrastructure while ensuring safety protocols and operational standards are maintained during both construction and live operational phases.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Handling: Load, transport, and position liquid-cooled AI server racks using proper lifting equipment and dollies

Delivery Coordination: Receive shipments, verify equipment against packing lists, and inspect for damage

Rack Installation: Install racks in designated locations following floor plans and cable routing specifications

Liquid Cooling Setup: Connect coolant distribution units (CDUs), supply/return lines, and perform initial leak testing procedures

Basic Setup: Connect power whips, network drops, coolant lines, and perform initial rack-level configurations

Customer Coordination: Communicate installation schedules, progress updates, and any delays to customers; coordinate customer walkthroughs and sign-offs

Construction Interface: Work closely with construction teams to sequence rack deployments around active build activities and ensure proper site access

Live Operations Support: Coordinate with existing data center tenants to minimize disruptions during installations in operational environments

Coolant System Safety: Follow proper procedures for handling coolant fluids and implement spill containment protocols

Documentation: Update rack inventory systems, take photos, complete installation checklists, and log coolant system connections

Safety Compliance: Follow data center safety protocols and proper lifting techniques for both construction zones and live environments

Vendor Support: Assist delivery teams and installation contractors with site access and logistics

Equipment Staging: Organize and stage equipment in receiving areas prior to installation, including coolant system components

Site Communication: Participate in daily construction meetings and operational briefings to align installation activities

Access Management: Coordinate security clearances and escort requirements for customer and vendor personnel

Troubleshooting: Identify and escalate physical installation issues, coolant leaks, or equipment problems

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

1+ years experience in data center operations, warehouse logistics, or similar technical environment

Basic understanding of server hardware and data center infrastructure

Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment

Comfortable working in temperature-controlled environments

Excellent communication skills for customer and contractor interactions

Ability to work safely around liquid cooling systems

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and maneuver heavy equipment

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Forklift certification

Experience with server rack installations and liquid cooling systems

Basic knowledge of power, network connectivity, and fluid handling

Familiarity with inventory management systems

Construction site safety training (OSHA 10/30)

Experience with coolant leak detection and containment procedures
