Job Title: Contract Embedded Design Engineer

Location: Northamptonshire

Daily Rate: PS400 per day

OUTISDE IR35

Duration: 6 months, potential to be extended

Clearance: Active and transferable SC clearance is required (recently lapsed may be considered, but transferable is preferred)

Company Overview & Job Title:

A highly regarded engineering organization located in Northamptonshire who specialise in Aerospace, Defence and Security Technology Communications have a new role to hire a Contract Embedded Design Engineer to join the team and business urgently, working OUTSIDE IR35 on an exciting 6 month contract duration with view to be extended.

Daily Rate on offer and working status:

The daily rate on offer for the successful Contract Embedded Design Engineer PS400 per day. Ideally and preferred is that the candidate will need to be onsite 5 days a week for the first month and then move to hybrid working 3 days onsite and 2 days WFH. The Contract Embedded Design Engineer will need to have an active and transferable SC clearance is required (recently lapsed may be considered, but transferable is preferred).

Contract Embedded Design Engineer Key Skills:

5-7+ years of industry experience
Embedded Software Programming in C, C++
Embedded RTOS - FreeRTOS, VxWorks, QNX or similar
Embedded Linux experience including applications, drivers, system build and SoC integration
Knowledge and experience of FPGA's - VHDL, Verilog, Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus
Knowledge of hardware bring-up and debugging
Industry experience in Defence, Security, Aviation/Aerospace/Military - Huge Bonus
