Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Email administration team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in managing Email environments, troubleshooting issues, and supporting our IT infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills and gain valuable industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with issues in Outlook and Outlook Web Access (OWA)
Troubleshooting email connectivity problems
Configuring email client settings such as:
Out of Office replies
Message and mailbox folder management
Archiving and encryption
Handling attachments
Booking rooms and other client features
Supporting secure webmail functions:
Password resets
Sending and receiving secure messages

Additional Responsibilities Include

Managing and validating technical documentation, operational procedures, workflow diagrams, email metric reports, and user job aids
Identifying and escalating support tickets to the appropriate teams as needed
Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Strong interest in IT systems administration
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills
Familiarity with desktop operating systems, basic networking, cybersecurity, file sharing, and email systems
Basic understanding of enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange, VDI, and Windows Server is a plus
Experience using IT tools like Exchange Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Splunk is a plus
Basic proficiency in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python, etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Education Requirements

Must be currently pursuing a 4-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Students should have an anticipated graduation date of 2027 or later.
