About StellarPay
Build end-to-end features across StellarPay's financial platform, from user interfaces to backend APIs. You'll work across our entire technology stack to create seamless experiences that connect users, financial institutions, and our AI-powered intelligence layer in a unified system.
The Opportunity
Join StellarPay as a Fullstack Developer to own complete feature development from database to user interface. You'll build both customer-facing applications and internal tools while contributing to our vision of creating a modular financial operating system that serves users across developed and emerging markets.
What You'll Build
End-to-End Feature Development
Build complete user flows from React frontend components to backend APIs and database schemas
Create customer onboarding experiences that integrate KYC processes with intuitive UI design
Develop transaction management features spanning mobile apps, web dashboards, and backend processing
Build admin tools and internal interfaces for operations, compliance, and customer support teams
API & Integration Development
Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for mobile and web applications
Build integration layers connecting traditional banks, mobile money providers, and stablecoin networks
Create webhook systems and real-time notification services for transaction updates
Develop automated testing suites covering both frontend and backend functionality
Data & Analytics Systems
Implement comprehensive dashboards displaying real-time transaction data and business metrics
Build data visualization components for financial reporting and operational intelligence
Create user analytics systems tracking behavior patterns across different markets and demographics
Develop performance monitoring and alerting systems for both frontend and backend components
Infrastructure & Developer Tools
Build deployment pipelines and development tools that streamline full-stack feature delivery
Create debugging and monitoring interfaces for production troubleshooting across the stack
Implement security measures and compliance tooling spanning frontend authentication to backend encryption
Develop internal tools that accelerate team productivity and operational efficiency
Technical Challenges You'll Solve
Building secure, performant applications that handle sensitive financial data across multiple jurisdictions
Creating seamless user experiences that integrate complex backend processes with intuitive frontend interfaces
Implementing real-time data synchronization between mobile apps, web applications, and backend systems
Building scalable systems that gracefully handle varying network conditions and device capabilities globally
Designing robust error handling and recovery systems that maintain user trust in financial applications
What We're Looking For
Technical Excellence (3+ years)
Strong proficiency in both frontend (React, TypeScript, modern CSS) and backend (Python, Node.js, or Go) development
Experience with database design, API development, and cloud platform deployment (AWS/GCP)
Understanding of modern development practices including testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization
Knowledge of security best practices for web applications, especially in financial or sensitive data contexts
Fullstack Mindset
Ability to think holistically about user problems and implement solutions across the entire technology stack
Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, caching strategies, and real-time data systems
Understanding of mobile-responsive design and cross-platform compatibility considerations
Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization, and scalable infrastructure patterns
Product & Business Awareness
Interest in fintech, international payments, and financial inclusion technology
Ability to balance technical excellence with business requirements and user experience priorities
Strong communication skills for collaborating with designers, product managers, and other engineers
Comfort with startup pace and ability to work independently on complex, ambiguous problems

Frontend: React 18, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Next.js
Backend: Python/Django or Node.js/Express, PostgreSQL, Redis
