IBS Consulting Is Looking For a Junior Back-office Assistant For The Branch Office In Brussels With Interest To Grow In The Field Of Funded Projects At The European Level. The Selected Candidate Will Assist The Experienced Project Manager In The Following Tasks

Identify and analyze European funding opportunities (e.g., Horizon Europe, LIFE Programme, Innovation Fund etc.) relevant to our clients and company projects.
Support clients during the application phase, preparing project proposals that meet the requirements of the relevant calls for funding.
Drafting funding proposals, ensuring the content is presented effectively and the documentation is of the highest quality.
Support in the financial management of EU funded projects from initiation to reporting, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with deadlines and timelines.

Requirements

Proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken) is a must; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
Degree in Economics, Social Sciences or also technical fields (e.g. Engineering, etc.).
At least 1-2 years of experience in European funding management.
Excellent writing skills for project proposals.
Strong skills in office automation tools and AI tools.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and partners.
Established network of contacts and relationships at EU level will represent an added value.

It's Considered a Plus

Previous knowledge of major European funding programs for industry (such as Horizon Europe, LIFE, Innovation Fund, RFCS, Digital Europe).
Experience or training in financial reporting and monitoring funded projects
