We are looking for a Systems Administrator to support Plante Moran's Workday platform and connected systems. This position is part of the Firm's Workday Center of Excellence (CoE), focused on cloud-based operations that integrate and optimize essential functions of HR, Finance, and Professional Services Automation. The Workday Systems Administrator will collaborate and work cross-functionally with business owners, stakeholders, project managers, solution architects, and technology teams to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our Workday environment.
Your role.
Your Work Will Include, But Not Be Limited To
Manage and coordinate bi-weekly internal Workday releases, ensuring timely deployment and minimal disruption to firm operations.
Lead the planning, testing, and implementation of Workday's semi-annual releases, including impact analysis and stakeholder communication.
Monitor and resolve Workday-related support desk tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Process and fulfill internal security access requests in compliance with our security protocols.
Manage operations tasks (support tickets, releases) for Dayshape, our resource management application integrated with Workday.
Initiate, track, and follow up on tickets opened with Workday partner support.
Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and best practices.
Collaborate with HRIS, IAS, IT, and business owners to support Workday enhancements and projects.
Maintain documentation of system configurations, release notes, and support processes.
The Qualifications.
Bachelor's Degree
3 years of experience in Information Systems or related technical or business fields.
2 years of technical experience with Workday system administration, architecture, and application configuration is preferred.
Experience managing support tickets and collaborating with vendor support teams.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conceptualize and present ideas and solutions clearly and concisely, including translating technical concepts into business-friendly and user-friendly language.
High level of comfort working with all levels of employees.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion.
Strong aptitude for technology.
This position may require some local, national, and occasional international travel.
This is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.
