Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, Pharmacy, you will be responsible for providing a variety of services including medication distribution, (order entry, dispensing, checking and delivery), manufacturing and sterile product preparation, including chemotherapy.

Education Requirements

Registered by Ontario College of Pharmacists

Mandatory Qualifications

Experience in a computerized pharmacy environment
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a team focus
Self-directed individual with the ability to work both independently and within an inter professional team
Mature, reliable individual with excellent attendance record
Creative problem solver with a customer focus and patient friendly approach
Good understanding of medication safety and quality assurance
Proven critical thinking skills
Ability to multitask and set priorities in a rapidly changing environment.

Preferred Competencies

Reliable individual with excellent attendance record and able to work all shifts
Chemotherapy preparation experience
Experience in IV Preparation
Keyboarding skills utilizing PC applications for reports and special assignments
Experience in a hospital pharmacy environment
