Which company will you be joining as a "FPSO DOCUMENT CONTROLER (M/F)"?
We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, a "FPSO DOCUMENT CONTROLER (M/F) for a 12-month renewable contract based in Paris (France) with potential relocation abroad to yard. This mission is on a residential basis, with no option for rotation.
"FPSO DOCUMENT CONTROLER (M/F)": What will your missions and responsibilities be?
Missions
Stay informed of company rules, specifications, and corporate/project procedures related to Documentation Management and apply them in daily activities
Participate in implementing the Documentation Management system at the contractor's office, setting up and explaining rules and procedures in coordination with the FPSO Document Control Leader
Use the company's software for day-to-day activities:
Register and integrate FPSO contractor documents
Manage transmittal sheets, define and launch review workflows, maintain distribution matrices, follow up on review processes, compile commented documents, and prepare outgoing transmittal sheets
Ensure FPSO contractor-issued documents comply with project specifications and standards, using automated tools for conformity checks, and reject non-compliant documents as necessary
Manage correspondences, QA records, and package documentation, including referencing, tracking
Provide support and training to the FPSO Work Package team and general document management duties
Monitor document production progress in coordination with the FPSO Planning and Reporting Leader
Provide all relevant information for project reporting
Participate in the timely hand-over of FPSO documentation to the Operations team according to Final Documentation Procedures
Report regularly to the FPSO Document Control Leader, highlighting progress and areas of concern
Maintain strict confidentiality throughout all project activities
Coordinate, train, supervise, and support Document Controllers deployed across FPSO sites as required
Report hierarchically to the FPSO Doc Control Leader and FPSO Project Control Leader, and functionally to the Project Document Control Leader
Capture lessons learned regarding Document Control and IS/IT matters and provide feedback to other corporate entities as required
Deliverables
Manage the preparation and coordination of all Document Control activities for the FPSO during Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Construction, Commissioning, and Installation phases
Ensure all technical and correspondence documents issued by contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors comply with Project Document Control specifications
Comply with the rules and requirements set by the Project Control team
Provide active support to all FPSO members in performing document-related duties and act as the focal point for all matters concerning FPSO documentation management
Participate in the overall documentation process, suggesting procedure amendments, issuing reports, and supporting continuous improvement of the company's system
What profile and skills are required for this "FPSO DOCUMENT CONTROLER (M/F)" role?
Technical Requirements
Proven expertise in Document Control activities, with advanced experience in similar or equivalent services
Rigorous and solution-oriented approach to task completion
Autonomous, with the ability to perform duties effectively within a team environment
Strong knowledge of document and data control processes
Dynamic, highly motivated, with excellent transversal coordination, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Excel mastery is mandatory
Languages: English mandatory
