About The Role
The Front-end React Developer will play a vital role in supporting and advancing the company's digital initiatives. This position involves developing and maintaining JavaScript applications using modern ReactJS and React hooks, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust functionality. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical teams to translate business requirements into industry-leading digital solutions. Responsibilities include architecting technical solutions, supporting application operations, and participating in software release cycles. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying process improvements, supporting end-user training, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards. The developer will also monitor application support tickets, recommend licensing adjustments, and contribute to technology assessments, all while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that values innovation and teamwork.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university (preferred)
Strong experience developing JavaScript applications using modern ReactJS and React hooks
Good understanding of Next.js and Tailwind CSS
Elevated working knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience in developing transactional user interfaces
Knowledge of WordPress and headless CMS technologies
Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform development
Understanding of security practices related to RESTful APIs
Ability to write unit tests and end-to-end tests
Working knowledge of basic UI/UX design principles and prototype evaluations
Understanding of Microsoft Azure environment
Experience working in Agile development environments
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain JavaScript applications utilizing modern ReactJS and React hooks
Architect and provide technical solutions for complex problems
Collaborate with business teams to ensure digital environment supports operational needs
Support product development and roadmap execution in coordination with internal teams
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions
Participate in application release updates with vendors and business users
Ensure all development activities comply with corporate standards and best practices
Plan, test, implement, and troubleshoot software upgrades and updates
Develop end-user training documentation and support materials
Create and maintain help desk knowledge base articles
Work directly with IT and business teams to resolve technical issues promptly
Monitor software licensing and recommend changes to optimize costs
Conduct technology assessments and provide recommendations for future improvements
Monitor application support tickets and respond efficiently to resolve issues
Perform other duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals
