Our client, a leading organization in the gaming and cloud services industry, is seeking a Software Design Engineer to join their team. As a Software Design Engineer, you will be part of the Cloud Services Department supporting the development and maintenance of marketplace services for a large AAA game. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Redmond, WA - Remote
Pay Range: $46.98 - $51.72
What's the Job?
Design, develop, and implement cloud-based services supporting large-scale gaming content ingestion and management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements and develop tailored software solutions
Fine-tune and improve sophisticated software projects to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Create detailed software specifications, test plans, and migration packages for system testing and deployment
Participate in on-call rotations to address incidents and ensure system stability during critical times
Candidates should be prepared for a technical assessment and show off some of their coding skills.
What's Needed?
Minimum 4 years of experience developing cloud services, preferably with Azure
Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or JavaScript
At least 2 years of experience working with REST APIs and cloud-based service architecture
Solid foundation in computer science principles, including data structures and algorithms
Experience troubleshooting and performing in-depth testing on both new and legacy systems
