Role: Sr. Salesforce developer with AI

Work Location: Canada/Remote

Client: HCL Tech

Project: Contract

Job Description:

7+ years of experience in software development
5+ years development experience on the Force.com platform
Leveraged AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor IDE, or Windsurf to accelerate coding
Experience on Sales Cloud and Service and/or Marketing Cloud (Pardot)
Must possess and verify an Active Salesforce Advanced Developer OR Platform Developer II Certification.
Having an active Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification is a plus
e.g. Apex language, Force.com custom development, triggers, controllers, JavaScript, Force.com REST APIs, JSON, sObjects, SOQL, SOSL, outbound messaging, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Visualforce pages
Must have hands-on experience working with relational databases (MS-SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and ETL processes
Build integrations between Salesforce and external applications via Heroku, MuleSoft, Apex callouts.
Solid understanding of OAuth, REST, SOAP, events streaming (Pub/Sub, CDC) and messaging queues.
