Job Offer: Test Engineer (M/F/X)

Location: Hybrid – On-site presence required approximately 3 days per week

Contract Type: Permanent / Freelance depending on profile

Role Overview

As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of our software solutions. You will be responsible for defining, implementing, and continuously improving testing strategies in close collaboration with development, product, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Define test coverage during the feature analysis phase
Develop end-to-end tests in collaboration with developers
Perform manual and exploratory testing to validate complex behaviors
Maintain and enhance the data set injection tool
Monitor test execution and resolve flaky tests
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
Produce clear and actionable test reports for product teams

Main Activities

Assist in planning and estimating testing efforts
Collaborate with developers to define and implement end-to-end test cases using modern front-end technologies
Define and maintain datasets for microservices applications
Review and improve existing QA processes
Contribute to scalable and reliable test automation solutions
Support tactical and strategic planning for future quality initiatives
Work closely with IT Architects and Product Owners to define and execute effective testing methodologies
Guide development teams in executing test strategies based on functional specifications and user stories
Build strong relationships with business and product stakeholders to align on QA roadmap
Ensure consistent QA environments and infrastructure
Measure and report on QA metrics regularly
Communicate quality-related information across the organization
Ensure minimal defect leakage into production
Stay up to date with industry standards and best practices

Profile

Education:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Coding School, or equivalent

Experience:

Proven experience in technical QA with a strong focus on automation
Mastery of modern testing tools and QA best practices

Technical Skills:

Solid knowledge of front-end technologies: TypeScript, Playwright (or Cypress), Vitest (or Jest), Node.js, React, Express, Nx
Familiarity with CI/CD environments and microservices architecture

Soft Skills:

Analytical thinking and attention to detail
Fast learner
Autonomous, proactive, and structured mindset

Work Conditions
