About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Claims Entry Team member to join our remote team. As a Transaction Processing Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting Medicaid providers in Montana by accurately entering claim information into our claims management system. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure data integrity and timely processing of claims, which is essential for maintaining compliance and delivering quality service. This position offers flexible working hours, either remotely or onsite, with a standard work schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM MST, Monday through Friday, with no weekend commitments. The role provides an excellent opportunity to gain insight into the Medicaid claims process, healthcare administration, and insurance operations, making it an ideal position for individuals interested in healthcare support services and claims processing.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Data Entry experience
Insurance or claims processing experience (preferred)
Experience with claims management systems or HER platforms (preferred)
Knowledge of healthcare or insurance terminology (preferred)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication skills and ability to follow procedures
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry tools
Responsibilities
Accurately input claim data into claims processing systems to ensure completeness and correctness
Review supporting documents for accuracy and completeness prior to data entry
Identify and flag incomplete, inconsistent, or incorrect information for follow-up or clarification
Maintain high productivity levels while adhering to quality standards and deadlines
Follow established procedures and guidelines for claim submissions and data management
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, or other departments regarding issues or discrepancies
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies
Perform additional clerical or administrative tasks as assigned to support team operations
