Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Programme Director with deep expertise in leading complex, multi-year, multi-geography retail transformation programmes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering business and technology solutions across grocery, FMCG – retail and wholesale leveraging both cloud and on-premise infrastructures

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end programme delivery across global retail organisations, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.

Establish and scale delivery teams across geographies, fostering high-performance cultures and collaborative ways of working.

Define and implement governance structures, programme boards, stage gating, and stakeholder engagement frameworks.

Drive transformation initiatives including ERP, retail systems, supply chain, finance, and HR technologies.

Engage with board-level stakeholders to shape operating models, change roadmaps, and architectural capability plans.

Deliver repeatable deployment models for international rollouts, balancing global standardisation with local customisation.

Ensure financial integrity and benefit realisation across all programme phases.

Experience & Qualifications:

20+ years of experience in programme delivery across retail and consumer sectors.

Strong background in Oracle technologies (Retail, Fusion) and cloud platforms such as Azure

Demonstrated success in managing budgets ~ £50M GBP and teams exceeding 200 members.

Expertise in business process design, change management, stakeholder engagement, and benefit realisation.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
