Acuity, Inc. is looking to hire ServiceNow Developers. You will be working with a wonderful team of experienced developers as well as a reporting and process team. This position will be located in the Washington DC metropolitan area. The candidate is expected to be onsite most of the time, although there is some worksite flexibility available and situational telework may be approved based on need. Responsibilities

Configures, and customizes software solutions using the ServiceNow platform, with specific knowledge of the ServiceNow platform features and developing scoped applications on the platform
Assists in defining user requirements and user stories for business needs
Leverages agile methodologies to design, build, test, and implement solutions based on customers’ requirements
Designs and provides software solutions in ServiceNow ensuring the process flow of the out-of-the-box modules addresses user needs, or by developing scoped applications where appropriate to meet business process requirements
Helps support and validate ServiceNow upgrades and patches
Documents designs and coding changes
Troubleshoots reported bugs or errors using logging
Packages coding changes for releases and migrates code and configuration changes between applicable environments, e.g., development, test, and production
Provides the Operations and Maintenance Team system support, as needed
Performs standard administration and system configuration
Works as part of a team on client engagements

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent related field experience)
3+ years experience working with ServiceNow
Experience with ServiceNow development tools
Working knowledge of ServiceNow applications; especially, SPM, ITSM, ITOM, and SecOps
Experience with javascript
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Preferred/Desired Requirements

Advanced training courses/certifications in ServiceNow
Knowledge of partner products integrated with ServiceNow
ITIL® Foundations and intermediate certifications
Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
Strong written and oral communication skills
Prior experience in a federal government consulting environment; Department of State experience a plus

Clearance Requirement

Must have an Active Secret clearance or higher
