Position Type: 6-Month Contract (With strong potential for extension and conversion to full-time)

We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Data Analyst to support a critical expansion of our communications and data management team.

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive Data Analyst to provide crucial support for our communication specialist team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing data sets, creating automated processes, and ensuring data integrity for large-scale communication projects. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, experience in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Extract and manipulate large data sets from Cognos and other cloud-based databases to support targeted communication campaigns.
Develop and maintain automated macros and processes to improve team efficiency and accuracy.
Perform rigorous data validation, including V-lookups and discrepancy analysis, to ensure the highest quality of data outputs.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues with a sense of urgency and precision.
Collaborate with communication specialists and senior leaders to understand project requirements and deliver timely data solutions.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are kept informed.

Required Qualifications

4-5 years of professional experience in a data analysis role.
Proven expertise in creating and managing complex Excel Macros for process automation.
Hands-on experience with Appian systems for workflow management.
Demonstrated experience working with cloud-based databases.
Proficiency in pulling and analyzing data from Cognos reporting.
Strong skills in data manipulation and validation (e.g., V-lookups, pivot tables, identifying discrepancies).
Excellent project management and follow-up skills.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but equivalent practical experience is highly valued.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in the financial services industry.
Experience supporting large teams or working on communications-focused projects.
