Overview

We're looking for a highly motivated and organized Go-to-Market (GTM) Enablement Intern to join our team for the summer. This role is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. You'll play a crucial role in helping our GTM teams (sales, marketing, customer success) be more effective by ensuring they have the right content, training, and tools to succeed.

This is a remote summer internship for 12 consecutive weeks with start dates between May-June 2026.

Responsibilities

Conduct an audit of our existing sales and marketing content. You will identify gaps, update outdated materials, and help organize our knowledge base to improve discoverability and usability.
Assist in refreshing our GTM onboarding program. This includes updating training modules, creating a new hire checklist, and helping to coordinate logistics for live training sessions.
Assist in maintaining our competitive intelligence library. You will research and update battlecards, and may assist in market research projects for new product launches or GTM initiatives.
Help us measure the impact of our enablement initiatives. You will assist in analyzing data from our CRM and other tools to provide insights into GTM team performance and tool adoption.
Work closely with a variety of teams, including product marketing, sales, and customer success, to understand their needs and help build enablement solutions that address them.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree, in Business, Marketing, Communications, Operations or related field, with an expected conferral date between December 2026 and August 2027.
Demonstrated project management and organizational skills (e.g., managing assignments, events, or group projects).

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with sales and marketing concepts is a plus.
A proactive and curious mindset with a strong desire to learn.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite; familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or enablement platforms (e.g., Highspot, Seismic) is a bonus.
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Range

The base salary range for this job is USD $25.97 - USD $68.90 /Hr.

These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
