Head of Marketing

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strategic and hands-on Head of Marketing to join a rapidly expanding consumer brand at a pivotal stage of growth. This is a stand-alone senior position where you’ll take full ownership of the marketing strategy - shaping the brand, driving customer engagement, and leading the successful launch of multiple new sites across the UK.

You’ll combine creative vision with commercial focus, working closely with the leadership team to bring the brand to life in local markets and ensure consistent growth nationwide.

The Role

Define and deliver the marketing strategy to support ambitious growth and site rollout plans.
Lead new site launch campaigns, creating tailored multi-channel plans that drive awareness.
Manage and allocate the marketing budget, ensuring measurable ROI across all activities.
Partner with the senior team to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
Oversee all digital activity including SEO, paid media, content, PPC, social and email.
Optimise the website for user experience and lead generation.
Use analytics and reporting tools to measure campaign effectiveness and inform future strategy.
Manage brand communications, content creation, and social presence.
Coordinate external agencies, freelancers, and creative partners to deliver high-quality campaigns.

About You

You’ll be a commercially minded marketer who thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. This is a role for someone who enjoys both strategy and hands-on delivery.

5+ years’ experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within a B2C, multi-site, or retail/leisure environment.
Proven ability to deliver successful multi-channel campaigns that drive engagement and conversion.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, paid social, and email.
Confidence in using data and analytics to guide decision-making and improve ROI.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
A creative mindset and passion for brand storytelling.
Experience managing external partners or agencies.
Prior experience in a start-up or scale-up setting is highly desirable.
