Spencer Ogden is proud to be partnering with a leading offshore wind developer expanding its operations across Scotland. We’re seeking an experienced Authorising Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operations across the company’s offshore wind portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as Authorising Engineer for HV/LV electrical systems, ensuring robust safety governance and compliance.
Provide oversight and assurance under the Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR) framework.
Lead on the development, implementation, and monitoring of safe systems of work.
Support Authorised and Competent Persons in maintaining high standards of electrical safety and operational performance.
Deliver governance, audit, and continuous improvement within the company’s O&M and electrical safety processes.

Requirements:

Proven experience in an Authorising Engineer or senior electrical safety role, ideally within offshore wind or power generation.
Strong understanding of WTSR, HV/LV authorisation, and electrical safety management systems.
Chartered Engineer (or working towards) preferred.
Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
