Solutions Engineer - Genesys Cloud (Voice, Chatbots, Messaging & AI)
£450 - £550/day | Fully Remote | Outside IR35
You've delivered Genesys Cloud solutions from design to deployment and you know exactly how to make it sing across voice, messaging, chatbots, and AI.
This isn't just about platform support, it's a hands-on, delivery-focused contract role where you'll design, build, configure, and optimise Genesys Cloud solutions as part of a major programme for a high-profile end customer.
You'll work as part of a dedicated squad within a consulting team leading implementation activities, shaping how customer interactions are handled, and making smart use of automation and AI capabilities.

Location: Fully remote (UK-based)
Project: Delivering a large-scale Genesys Cloud implementation for a major enterprise
Impact: Help shape a next-gen customer contact experience with voice, AI, messaging, and omnichannel flows
Duration: Initial 3 months, likely to be extended up to 9 months
What you'll be doing:
Designing and building customer interaction flows across voice, chat, email, and messaging using Genesys Architect
Implementing chatbot, messaging and AI features, creating modern, scalable customer journeys
Developing APIs and integrations to third-party platforms and Back End systems
Supporting secure deployments using DevSecOps practices, CX as Code, and tools like Terraform
Troubleshooting complex issues across SIP, IVR, call routing, and messaging journeys
Working closely with product owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to shape the solution end-to-end
Providing expert input into Agile ceremonies and leading technical delivery within your squad
Creating documentation and supporting knowledge transfer across the wider team
What you'll bring to the table:
Proven experience in Genesys Cloud implementation especially voice, chatbot, messaging, and AI capabilities
Ideally Genesys Cloud Professional Certification (GCP) and at least one Specialist Certification (Architect, AI/Bots, etc.)
Strong background in Genesys Cloud Architect design - across voice, messaging, and omnichannel flows
Hands-on experience with APIs, REST services, and third-party system integration
Knowledge of SIP, telephony (including Edge devices), and contact centre infrastructure
Exposure to Terraform or Genesys CX as Code a bonus
Comfortable working in Agile squads with a DevSecOps mindset
Clear communicator, natural collaborator, and confident troubleshooting complex issues
