The Opportunity
We are seeking a visionary and technically astute IT Director to lead the IT function at The St. Regis London. This role is responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and security of all technology systems across the hotel. From guest-facing platforms to back-of-house infrastructure, you will ensure seamless digital experiences that elevate our legendary service. This is a rare opportunity to shape the technology landscape of one of the most anticipated luxury hotel openings in the UK. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hospitality insight, leadership finesse, and a passion for innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all hotel technology systems
Ensure optimal performance, security, and availability of IT infrastructure and applications
Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and technology budgets
Collaborate with hotel leadership and Marriott regional IT teams to support business goals
Oversee disaster recovery planning, data privacy compliance, and cybersecurity protocols
Maintain accurate documentation including scorecards, inventory, and audit records
Support onboarding and training of associates in technology platforms
Drive continuous improvement and readiness for future technology rollouts
What We’re Looking For
A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Hospitality Management, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of IT leadership experience in a luxury hospitality environment
Strong understanding of hospitality systems (PMS, POS, network infrastructure)
Proven ability to manage complex projects and vendor negotiations
A strategic mindset with attention to detail and operational excellence
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
