Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer (SC Cleared)

Location: Remote, Occasional expenses paid travel may be required

Day rate: Up to £485 a day Inside IR35

Start Date: 5 January 2026

Contract Type: 12 Month Contract

We are seeking experienced Senior Full Stack Developers to join a major digital programme. This role involves delivering secure, scalable applications across Java and React ecosystems, contributing to new greenfield services, and supporting cloud-native development on AWS.

*Active SC clearance (mandatory)*

You will work within an engineering team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance systems that support a large transformation initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend systems using Java and Spring Boot

• Build front-end applications using React and Next.js

• Deliver secure APIs and microservices to support distributed architectures

• Contribute to AWS cloud implementation

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines

• Work with containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to drive technical decisions

• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and best-practice engineering processes

• Support greenfield development activities across the platform

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive full stack development experience

• Strong proficiency with Java, Spring Boot

• Solid experience with React and Next.js

• AWS cloud exposure

• Strong understanding of API development and microservice architectures

• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tooling and automation

• Experienced with Docker and/or Kubernetes

• Prior experience working on greenfield builds
