JOB OVERVIEW
To strengthen its commercial presence in the Benelux region, we are seeking a Sales Team Leader based in the Greater Brussels area. This role combines hands-on sales leadership with regional coordination, taking ownership of the Flanders market while supporting commercial alignment across the Benelux region.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead a local team of five, fostering collaboration and ensuring the delivery of business results.
MISSION OF THE ROLE
The Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading and managing the local team, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and high performance in daily operations, sales forecasting, and budget planning. In addition, it focuses on managing and strengthening long-term customer relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities. The position ensures sales and margin targets are met through effective market strategies and deep expertise in sun shading, blinds, and automation systems, and oversees partnerships with distributors and key clients, with a strong focus on B2B sales.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for a senior commercial leader with a solid background in B2B sales within building automation, smart home technologies, shading systems, or home appliances.
The ideal candidate combines deep industry expertise, strategic vision, and strong people leadership.
Key Profile Requirements:
At least 10–15 years of experience in commercial or business development roles within B2B sectors related to building automation, smart home, shading systems, or home appliances used in residential or commercial settings.
Demonstrated leadership experience, having led and developed sales or commercial teams, driven performance, and built a culture of accountability and results.
Proven success managing B2B customers such as manufacturers, OEMs, installers, specialized distributors, and retail networks, with a clear focus on partnership development and growth.
Strategic mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into actionable commercial strategies.
Strong financial and business acumen, including experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, able to influence across different organizational levels in an international environment.
Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
