One of InterEx’s key clients within the Broadcasting Entertainment Industry is looking for an AWS Cloud Security Architect. With over 5,000+ employees and $50 billion in annual revenue, this organization is one of the globe’s most renowned Network organizations.

Job Description:

• The AWS Cloud Security Architect will work with stakeholders and industry experts to understand and build an alignment on the various architectural technology standards.

• This role serves as a thought leader to challenge/influence all levels across the organisation to rethink routine, embrace new best practices, and drive adoption of technology standards.

• This role will also apply enterprise security architecture governance over solutions that provide technical capabilities.

• Work with various stakeholders to build an enterprise alignment around cloud security strategy, standards, roadmaps, and terminology.

• Facilitate the creation of clear, concise, and easy-to-access technology standards to provide engineering teams with tactical direction for achieving the enterprise security strategy.

• Clearly communicate and evangelize the value associated with adhering to the security strategy and corresponding standards.

• Create visibility and build awareness of the gap between current state security implementation versus future state architecture and advocate for gaps to be filled.

• Ensure seamless governance is applied to various engineering teams who are building technical capabilities.

Experience required:

• Comprehensive experience with AWS cloud providers and their capabilities.

• Strategic thinking abilities and an enterprise-wide perspective.

• Experience providing guidance and defining strategies for how companies should deal with cloud security.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science or related relevant experience.

• 5+ years of experience architecting cloud solutions in AWS.

• Ability to partner within and across teams to gain consensus and enable change.

• Ability to influence stakeholders.

• Ability to drive tasks to completion.

• Strong communication skills for creating and sharing presentations to multiple levels of audiences of stakeholders – i.e. senior executives in business and IT, architects, developers etc
