Job Specifications
Our client, a foundry, is seeking a collaborative and results-driven Senior Business Developer to drive the company’s market expansion. This position will initially focus on the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and subsequently expand to additional target segments.
The successful candidate will work closely with teams across operations, engineering, quality, finance, and leadership to translate growth concepts into actionable and compliant plans. Responsibilities include managing the development pipeline, engaging stakeholders, and overseeing governance throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial idea to ramp-up phase.
Our Client:
Our client’s ideal customers are organizations that require more than 500 pounds of iron castings, typically for low-volume needs. These customers are often original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the Fluid Handling and Electrical Motors industries, which together make up 60% of current sales volume.
Additionally, our client is highly valued by Maintenance Service providers, particularly those servicing the pulp and paper industry. The company offers rapid production of foam patterns from 2D drawings or sample castings, often completing this process within hours. This capability enables our client to provide castings with industry-leading short lead times, delivering orders within two weeks.
