Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Specialist with hands-on experience managing IT hardware assets in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will support hardware tracking, maintain data accuracy in asset repositories, resolve ticket requests, and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Core Responsibilities
Manage and maintain hardware assets within the organization’s official book of record
Work through assigned tickets to resolve data quality issues
Maintain hardware asset data integrity within the CMDB
Document workflows, identify gaps, and contribute to process enhancements
Analyze data using Excel, Access, or SQL-based tools
Utilize Power Automate to support workflow automation (asset)
Required Technical Skills
1–2 years of experience in technology hardware asset management
Strong working knowledge of CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
Hands-on experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ticketing platforms
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, or comparable SQL tools
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and data ownership capabilities
Preferred Skills
Experience with Power Automate
Ability to document processes and recommend improvements
Nice to Have
Knowledge of Discovery Tools (e.g., SCCM, ServiceNow Discovery)
HAM Pro Certification
IAITAM Certification
Previous experience within the banking or financial services sector
