Why This Role Is Important
Administer and maintain Salesforce environments, including user setup, roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings.
Configure Salesforce to meet business requirements, including custom objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and process automation.
Develop and optimize SOQL and SOSL queries for data retrieval, reporting, and integration.
Design and build custom Java-based portals and web applications integrated with Salesforce APIs.
Manage and support API-based integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and synchronization across platforms.
Work collaboratively with business units to analyze requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
Perform sandbox management, deployment, and version control activities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce features, tools, and best practices.
Background That Fits
Minimum 3–5 years of Salesforce administration and development experience.
Strong SOQL/SOSL and Apex skills; familiarity with Lightning Components and Visualforce is a desirable.
Hands-on experience building Java-based applications and portals integrated with Salesforce.
Proven experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming) and external integrations.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of data modeling, security, and performance optimization in Salesforce.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Copado) and deployment automation.
Familiarity with integration middleware such as Celigo, Boomi, or Workato.
Exposure to Salesforce Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service and Sales Cloud customization.
Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) and Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) or higher certification.
