Job Title: AS400/RPGLE Developer with RxClaim Expertise

Location: Richardson TX 75082 – Remote

Employment: Contract W2 Only

Overview

We are seeking an experienced AS400/RPGLE Developer with strong hands-on expertise in RxClaim to support application development and enhancement initiatives within the healthcare claims domain. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of AS400-based systems and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product enhancements.

Project Description

This role is part of a long-term application development and enhancement project focused on healthcare claims–related applications. The technical stack for this project includes AS400, RPGLE, and Synon. The candidate will work closely with onsite and offshore teams to analyze business requirements, contribute to technical design discussions, and deliver robust technical solutions.

Minimum Experience:

8 to 10 years of relevant IT experience in AS400/RPGLE-based application development

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis

Understand business needs and translate them into detailed technical specifications and design documents.

Technical Design & Improvements

Participate actively in technical design discussions.

Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system performance, reliability, and maintainability.

End-to-End Development Ownership

Lead and collaborate on design and development activities with onsite and offshore teams.

Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned modules by taking primary ownership and responsibility.
