Position: Business Systems Analyst with EPIC

Location: Remote

Duration: Contract

Description:

We seek an experienced Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in healthcare and EPIC systems to drive the success of digital transformation initiatives across clinical and operational environments.
The ideal candidate brings over a decade of expertise in gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing efficient workflows, and ensuring seamless integration of EPIC modules with enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with clinical and business stakeholders to capture, validate, and document functional requirements.
Translate business needs into technical specifications and EPIC configuration recommendations
Lead workflow assessments, gap analysis, and optimization efforts for EPIC systems
Partner with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions
Support EPIC implementations, upgrades, testing cycles, and end-user training
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, data governance, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, PHI).
Troubleshoot system issues and provide production support to ensure continuity of care operations

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience in the healthcare domain
Hands-on experience with EPIC modules such as Care Management, Claims, Tapestry, or HIM
Proven capabilities in requirements engineering, process mapping, and Agile delivery frameworks
Strong communication superpowers with the ability to collaborate across clinical and technical audiences
Working knowledge of healthcare payer or provider workflows, data models, and interoperability standards (HL7/FHIR)
