We’re working with a remote-first UK tech company in the referral and word-of-mouth space that’s hiring a Software Engineer to help drive a major shift toward product-led growth.

This Software Engineer role is built for people who value flexibility and autonomy. As a Software Engineer, you’ll work remotely by default, come into the office only when it’s useful, and be trusted to ship outcomes, not clock hours or wait for perfect specs.

What this Software Engineer will do

Build and ship product-led growth tools used by leading consumer brands
Work mainly with TypeScript, Next.js, and the React ecosystem
Take loosely defined problems and move fast from idea to production
Run rapid experiments - ideas on Monday, live by Wednesday attitude
Work across the stack when needed (frontend, backend, AWS, infra)
Regularly demo live features to the wider company

What they’re looking for

A Software Engineer at strong mid → senior level (upper-mid ideal)
Front-end-leaning full-stack experience preferred
Comfortable in ambiguity, pace, and change
Bias toward shipping and learning over perfection
Low ego, curious, and happy to challenge ideas
Willing to consume some legacy PHP (but not live in it)
