Job Specifications

We are seeking an experienced Senior Back-End Software Engineer with strong expertise in ServiceNow to join our IT Development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and automating core IT processes, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operations across our technology landscape.

Job Description

Analyze, design, and test process automations on the ServiceNow platform (development handled by our Global Competence Center).
Design and test integrations between ServiceNow (cloud) and other applications (on-prem/cloud), in collaboration with the API Gateway team.
Translate business needs into technical designs that deliver real value.
Conduct technical integration testing and ensure smooth operations.
Resolve complex incidents and defects, tracking them to closure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions effectively.
Focus on analysis, design, and problem-solving (note: scripting and programming are not part of this role).

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience with ServiceNow (solid knowledge is a must).
Strong technical foundation and analytical skills.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts and eagerness to learn more.
Understanding of JavaScript fundamentals or another programming language for conceptual comfort.
