Manager – Special Events, Entertainment

8 month assignment

remote, must be local to California

Pay rate $65/hour (w2)

may be more part time up until event

We’re seeking an Area Manager to support large-scale entertainment events, from internal meetings to fan-focused experiences. This role oversees planning, logistics, and onsite execution .

Responsibilities

Lead operations for your assigned area, ensuring smooth load-in, daily execution, and load-out.
Serve as primary contact for exhibitors, partners, and internal teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, operations, venue services, security, and catering.
Troubleshoot issues in real time and proactively solve potential challenges.
Track and report on area operations and provide post-event feedback.

Qualifications

5+ years in hands on event production, operations, or stage management.
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
Knowledge of technical production elements (lighting, audio, staging, video).
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to handle fast-paced environments.
