Job Specifications

The Operations Specialist is responsible for research and administration of routine and complex financial and non-financial transactions using all applicable systems for Wealth clients and/or Advisors while providing superior quality, meeting all published service levels, within a client centric service model.

Wealth is a leading national Canadian dealership serving approximately 1,100 independent advisors.

Key Responsibilities/ Typical Day in Role

Process requests received through Salesforce or other means, while communicating directly with other internal partners, advisors, or our back-office provider; ensuring daily service levels are met with internal and external partners;
Follow-up on issues; investigate and/or escalate complex cases as needed;
Performing quality control
Participates in special projects/assignments; perform other duties as required.

Attributes:

Effective organizational, prioritization, and time management skills;
Excellent interpersonal skills an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff;
Ability to work in a fast paced team environment.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the financial services industry;
Required to complete any training/courses required
Superior attention to detail and accuracy;
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office;

Nice-To-Have Skills:

Experience with Dataphile or Salesforce is an asset;
Successful completion of IFIC Operations Course is an asset.

Education:

Bachelor's degree is required
