Job Specifications

We're looking for an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to design and shape our IT automation platform. You'll be the technical brain behind our ServiceNow solutions—translating business needs into smart designs that our development team brings to life. This is a design and architecture role, not a coding role. You'll focus on the "what" and "how" while our developers handle the "build."

What You'll Do

Design & Architecture: Analyze requirements and create technical specifications for ServiceNow automations across ITSM modules (Asset Management, Incident/Problem Management, Release Management, etc.). Design integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications working with our API Gateway team.
Quality & Testing: Develop test strategies, validate solutions, conduct technical reviews, and ensure everything works seamlessly before going live.
Problem Solving: Investigate complex ServiceNow incidents, perform root cause analysis, and track issues to resolution.
Collaboration: Bridge business stakeholders and technical teams, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and mentor colleagues on ServiceNow best practices.

What are we looking for?

5+ years ServiceNow experience with deep ITSM knowledge (this is critical)
Understanding of JavaScript fundamentals or another programming language (to review code and grasp technical concepts—not to write production code)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis
Fluent in Dutch and English
Experience with API integrations and cloud/on-premise architectures
Agile methodology experience

Nice to Have

ServiceNow certifications
Asset management or IT security process knowledge
ITIL framework familiarity
API Gateway experience
