About Manna & Co.

MANNA is building a kosher wellness meal prep brand focused on performance, balance, and consistency.

We are early-stage, moving quickly, and preparing for our first soft launch.

The Role

We are looking for a food science–trained operator with prior experience in a meal prep or prepared-foods production kitchen to help develop our initial menu and work hands-on in the kitchen during our launch phase.

This role involves active cooking and testing of meals alongside our existing chef team, applying food science thinking to real production food.

The role starts with menu development and kitchen testing, with the opportunity to expand into:

Ongoing menu refinement
R&D support
Long-term collaboration as the business grows

What You'll Do

Collaborate with the founder and chef team to develop 10–14 launch-ready meals

Apply food science thinking to:

Ingredient pairing
Texture stability
Reheat performance

Work hands-on in the kitchen, including:

Cooking meals in batch format
Tasting and evaluating food over time
Adjusting dishes in real time for meal prep performance

Flag ingredients or techniques that don’t work well in meal prep environments

Help ensure the first menu is reliable, cohesive, and production-friendly

Who Were Looking For

Background in Food Science, Food Technology, or Culinary Nutrition
Required: prior experience working in a meal prep, prepared-foods, catering, or commissary kitchen
Comfortable cooking and testing meals hands-on as part of an existing chef team
Practical, collaborative, and systems-minded
Enjoys early-stage startups and is comfortable working in fast-moving, build-from-scratch environments

Kosher experience is a plus, but not required.
