Method Resourcing is thrilled to be partnering with a global leader in the travel & insurance industry who are hiring a Senior QA Engineer as they continue to go from strength-to-strength. They’re profitable, growing, and in the middle of a significant investment programme designed to modernise their data landscape.

The role: The business is building a new, unified data lake that brings together all structured and unstructured data. This role sits in a newly created finance‑focused data squad. While technical QA skills already exist across the team, what’s missing is someone who can validate the financial and accounting logic that underpins insurance data, claims calculations, and finance-driven transformations. This Senior QA will become the specialist who ensures the data landing in UAT and the warehouse is not only technically correct, but financially correct.

What my client is looking for:

Strong background in data QA (data lakes, ETL pipelines, warehousing) - essential
Experience in an AWS environment (other cloud such as Azure or GCP can suffice) - essential
Understanding and experience of/with finance/accounting concepts (e.g., gross profit, adjustments, reconciliation logic) - essential

Nice-to-Haves

Python for test automation
Excellent SQL skills for large‑scale data validation

Working Arrangements

Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office (Crawley or Central London)
Those based in the London office will attend sprint planning in Crawley every two weeks
