Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 9+ Months with possibility of longer term extensions

Pay rate: $80 - $85/hr on W2

Required Skills & Experience:

7+ years of Information Technology experience supporting Business Services or Software Engineering

7+ years of experience as a technology business systems analyst with functional Workday expertise

5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience (Workday focus)

Deep expertise in Workday Studio and Workday Extend development

Advanced Workday integration system design, including EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and document transformation (XML, CSV, XSLT)

Strong Workday HCM configuration (Business Process, Staffing, Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent Management)

Hands-on experience with Workday Prism Analytics for real-time workforce insights and business reporting

Proven ability in developing and supporting Workday Advanced, Matrix, BIRT, and custom reports, supporting analytics for HR, Finance, and payroll

Demonstrated project leadership on large-scale Workday implementations, delivering full-cycle solutions, governance, risk management, and post-go-live support

Experience in Requirements gathering and business analysis for highly complex initiatives

Experience in Test Strategy, UAT, regression testing, and solution documentation

Ability to deliver creative solutions, vision, and advanced problem-solving in unprecedented business/engineering challenges

Engagement with client senior leadership, providing expert advice and influencing technology direction

Responsibilities:

Lead and consult on complex initiatives with broad organizational impact and large-scale planning

Architect, build, and support custom Workday Extend applications and enterprise integrations

Analyze and solve intricate, multi-faceted engineering and business challenges with a deep understanding of compliance, risk, and governance

Drive requirements gathering, functional analysis, and test strategy to address major business and technical needs

Provide critical reporting and analytics using Prism, Advanced, and BIRT reporting

Serve as a strategic collaborator, engaging with client personnel, senior leadership, and cross-functional internal teams (HR, Payroll, Finance, IT)

Maintain Workday configuration and business processes, optimizing workforce and business outcomes

Deliver documentation, user training, and ongoing support to support seamless business transformation
