Our client is seeking a Procurement Specialist4 to join their team.

Job Title: Procurement Specialist 4

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $36.00/hr. - $40.00/hr.

What’s the Job?

Summary

The main function of a Procurement Specialist is to lead in managing the sourcing within defined subcategories, identifying and engaging with senior stakeholders. The manager will oversee the sourcing execution and materials/reports for management, as well as provide sourcing and procurement advice to business areas.

Job Responsibilities

Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and to execute the plans and processes for sourcing goods and services.
Maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of the business drivers and have a comprehensive understanding of how they affect the business strategy.
Act as a subject matter expert on procurement policies, processes and best practice.
Manage key sourcing activities for business projects, ensuring timely delivery and budgeting with appropriate risk management.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key existing strategic suppliers.
Monitor compliance with the business' sourcing process, acting as an internal consultant for each stage in the process.

Skills:

Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Understanding of procurement and sourcing techniques and supply chain management.
Experience in procurement or purchasing

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, or related field
8-10 years’ experience

Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills & years of experience for each:

Procurement Management - 6 years
Contract Management - 6 years
MS Office - 6 years

Explain a typical day in the role.:

Partner with General Contractor (OFCI Manager), Microsoft Construction Project Manager and Site

Contract management teams.

Monitor OFCI equipment deliverables to contractual and confirmed supply dates.
First line escalation of equipment delays and / or defects affecting construction schedule.
First line escalation of Field Tech availability, support and compliance to site standards.
Partner with Construction and Contract Management to identify contractual performance deviation

(Claims Management).

Risk tracking and Microsoft Data Hygiene.
Project and Org. meetings as required.
