Vous intégrerez la Direction Data & Digital Technologies au sein du Département Geospatial qui regroupe des compétences en SIG, Topographie et Télédétection. Nous développons des outils sur notre plateforme cloud géospatiale, effectuons des études et opérations pour l'ensemble des branches de TotalEnergies et entretenons plusieurs thématiques R&D.
As a GeoAI Engineering intern, you will join the Remote Sensing team and contribute to the development of artificial intelligence applied to the geospatial domain.
Your missions will include technology monitoring, experimenting with AI models, and applying them to concrete use cases.
1. GeoAI Monitoring
Conduct general monitoring of advances in GeoAI.
Follow technologies related to image segmentation, object detection, and change detection.
Track developments in Remote Sensing and Geospatial Foundation Models (GeoFMs).
2. Use Case 1: Image Segmentation for Land Use / Land Cover (LULC)
Select and test pre‑trained models for LULC classification.
Propose model improvements.
Assess model performance on diverse image datasets with varying resolutions.
3. Use Case 2: Change Detection Based on LULC
Develop a use case focused on tracking land cover changes.
Potentially contribute to a dedicated use case: deforestation monitoring.
4. Other Use Cases: Detection of Objects of Interest
Leverage LULC knowledge to further enhance deforestation monitoring.
Implement the detection of objects of interest across all sites where TotalEnergies operates.

En tant que stagiaire Ingénieur GeoAI, vous rejoindrez le service Remote Sensing et contribuerez au développement de l'intelligence artificielle appliquée au domaine géospatial.
Vos missions couvriront à la fois la veille technologique, l'expérimentation de modèles d'IA et leur application à des cas d'usage concrets.
1. Veille GeoAI
Réaliser une veille générale sur les avancées en GeoAI.
Suivre les technologies liées à la segmentation d'images, la détection d'objets et la détection de changement.
Intégrer les évolutions du Remote Sensing et des Geospatial Foundation Models (GeoFMs).
2. Cas d'application 1 : Segmentation d'images pour Land Use / Land Cover (LULC)
Sélectionner et tester des modèles pré‑entraînés pour la classification LULC.
Proposer des améliorations de modèles.
Évaluer leur performance sur des banques d'images variées, avec différentes résolutions.
3. Cas d'application 2 : Détection de changement basée sur la LULC
Développer un cas d'usage lié au suivi des évolutions de couverture du sol.
Potentiellement contribuer à un cas d'usage spécifique : le suivi de la déforestation.
Currently enrolled in an engineering school or a Master's program in Data Science / AI, you are looking for a 6‑month end-of-studies internship starting in April 2026 ?
You specialize in AI / Data Sciences and possess skills in geospatial technologies. Ideally, you have strong experience in image analysis as well as Python development.
GIS tools such as QGIS or Google Earth Engine hold no secrets for you, and you also have a solid understanding of AI frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Curiosity, open‑mindedness, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills are key qualities that define you and enable you to work effectively within a team.
A professional command of English is essential to succeed in this role.
Your interest in IT and AI/Data-related topics-particularly those linked to image-specific challenges will be a real asset.
