Genesis10 is currently seeking a Jr. Business Analyst for a 9-month contract role with our client in Minneapolis, MN. This role will be hybrid, working Mondays and Tuesdays onsite.
Compensation: $48-53 - per hour W2, depending on skill and experience level.
Work Description/deliverables
The Client is seeking a detail oriented, analytical, and collaborative junior Business Analyst to support our IT Department. This hybrid role combines hands-on operational responsibilities, including admin support, with business analysis functions that drive process improvements, financial insights, and operational efficiency.
If you enjoy working with data, improving processes, documenting requirements, and partnering with cross-functional teams, this position offers the perfect blend of structured operations and analytical problem-solving.
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
Gather and document business requirements for process, system, or procurement changes.
Develop workflow diagrams, process maps, and operational documentation.
Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Support PMO efforts on small projects and operational improvements.
Participate in testing or validation of updated processes or tools.
Contract Coordination
Prepare, track, and monitor Professional Service Authorizations (PSAs)
Work with vendors to ensure billing is up to date and on time.
Mandatory Skills
Four-year college degree OR equivalent work experience as a business analyst
1-2 years of Business Analyst experience. Internship experience counts towards experience.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
Someone who is eager to learn and a go-getter. Someone who wants to learn and grow.
Valid driver's license and a working vehicle for commuting between job sites
Desired Skills
Exposure to process mapping tools (e.g., MS Visio)
Ability to analyze data and develop insights to support decision-making
Onsite Requirement
2 days a week--Monday and Tuesday
