About the Role
On behalf of our client, TEEMA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation, upgrade, migration, and ongoing evolution of our Microsoft SharePoint platform and related M365 tools. This role will be responsible for delivering complex digital workplace initiatives while applying strong project management discipline, change management practices, and continuous improvement principles.
The ideal candidate is PMP-certified, deeply grounded in PMI best practices, and brings hands-on experience modernizing collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and the broader Microsoft 365 suite. Experience maturing a PMO or improving project delivery practices is a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of SharePoint initiatives, including:
Implementation, upgrades, and migrations
Ongoing evolution of features and capabilities
Manage projects using PMI best practices and methodologies (e.g., waterfall, hybrid, agile as appropriate)
Develop and maintain:
Project plans, schedules, budgets, risk and issue logs, and status reports
Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and partners
Ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and on budget
Apply change management principles to drive adoption and minimize disruption
Oversee stakeholder communications, executive reporting, and governance forums
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project delivery processes
Contribute to the evolution and maturity of the PMO, including standards, templates, and best practices
Where applicable, support program-level planning and coordination across related initiatives
Required Qualifications
PMP Certification (required)
7+ years of experience in Project Management, ideally in enterprise IT or digital transformation environments
Proven experience delivering SharePoint projects including: Implementations,Upgrades, Migrations and Ongoing platform evolution
Strong experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (e.g., SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, etc.)
Deep understanding of PMI methodologies and best practices
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects
Excellent organizational, planning, and risk management skills
Nice-to-Have / Assets:
Experience with PMO development or maturity improvements
Experience in program management or managing interrelated initiatives
Formal training or hands-on experience in change management (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, or similar)
Experience in higher education, public sector, or large enterprise environments
