Looking to join a fast-paced and an ever expanding organization? Be a part of our dynamic team at Performance Auto Group! We are currently seeking a Media Content Intern to join our Niagara regional marketing team.

Our Media Content Intern has the opportunity to apply their multi-media knowledge and skills within the automotive industry, while providing support to our Sr. Regional Media Coordinator onsite in St. Catharines for the duration of a four month contract.

This is a highly collaborative position, similar to working in an internship role at a creative agency. Team members contribute their energy and ideas to campaigns, and devote their particular area of expertise to the execution.

Our ideal Media Content Intern is on top of important videography and photography trends and is a creative thinker who can find unique solutions to marketing issues. Experience with Adobe Products (After Effects and Premiere Pro) and Capcut, attention to detail, excellent project execution, as well as organizational and communication skills are required.

The focus of the internship will be on filming, editing, and production of videos in vertical and horizontal formats for website, social, YouTube, and PerformanceMax digital advertising.

Here’s What You’ll Deliver

Assist with the development and execution of digital video and photography content, working with the Sr. Regional Media Coordinator, Regional Marketing Manager, other marketing team members, and our retailers to execute.
Visiting retailers in the Niagara region primarily, and in the GTA region occasionally, to film content.
Actively participate in team meetings to understand marketing opportunities and contribute to brainstorming.
Other duties as required by the Sr. Regional Media Coordinator and the Regional Marketing Manager.

What do you need to succeed?

Pursuing or having achieved a college diploma or university degree in a multi-media program is an asset.
Experience with Adobe Products (After Effects and Premiere Pro) and Capcut is required.
Familiarity with editing content in both vertical (9:16) and horizontal (16:9) formats for different platforms.
Awareness of platform-specific content styles (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube) and how editing approaches vary by platform.
Comfortable researching and adapting to new editing styles, trends, and tools independently.
Strong understanding of visual storytelling, including pacing, shot selection, and sequence flow.
Ability to maintain brand consistency across visuals, text treatments, and graphics.
Strong attention to detail, project execution, organizational, and communication skills.
A creative approach to addressing the marketing needs of the organization.
Interest in learning and growing within a fast-paced, collaborative creative environment.
Automotive industry knowledge is an asset.
Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.

Job Type: This is a 4 month internship open to those with full-time or part-time availability.

Compensation (expected hourly wage): $20.00 per hour.
