Senior Legal Counsel - Major Technology-based Organisation.

The Opportunity

Graff Search is delighted to partner with this leading technology-based organisation in London to search for Senior Legal Counsel.

This is a permanent position, sitting within a team of around 20 lawyers in London, reporting to the Head of Legal for the UK, whilst working closely with the broader legal teams across the globe.

The role will suit a seasoned tech-based commercial lawyer that’s been heavily involved in a broad range of complex commercial contract matters effecting a major technology organisation and enjoys variety in their work. Being a mid to large organisation, no one day is likely to be the same!

The role sits across all areas of the business including legal, marketing, HR, digital, IT / Cyber / Privacy security in which you'll be responsible for providing advice and support to the team, whilst also advising / influencing senior stakeholders, many of which have been with the business for many years.

The firm we're working with are open to candidates from a multitude of industry sectors, although is likely to suit someone with experience, and a passion for all things technology related. This firm is at the knife’s edge for utilising the latest tech and AI methodologies!

Permanent role / Hybrid working arrangement in London with very competitive rate of pay depending on experience and suitability.

About You

This will suit an experienced / seasoned Lawyer that enjoys a varied, business facing role, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are very important.

As a guide, 6+ years complex commercial contracts experience, although all levels will be considered.
Open to considering people from both Private Practice and In-House
Previous experience of working within a technology-focussed organisation is preferred.
Ability to communicate with Senior Stakeholders and communicate clearly is key.
A keen interest in all things technology - tech, cyber, privacy and AI beneficial.
Any Data Privacy accreditations would be helpful.
Knowledge of working within Procurement, AI and Tech-related legal matters would be beneficial.
