A leading organisation in the European energy landscape is seeking an End-to-End (E2E) Test Coordinator / Test Manager to support large-scale digital and system-transformation initiatives. You will contribute to the development of a sustainable and reliable energy infrastructure by ensuring the quality and readiness of integrated software solutions.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the full end-to-end testing process across multiple teams and systems. You ensure that testing activities align with project objectives, technical requirements, and quality standards. You act as the central point of contact for all test-related matters, helping stakeholders make informed decisions based on clear and reliable test insights.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning

Define E2E testing objectives, scope, and approach based on business and technical requirements.
Develop and maintain test plans aligned with product needs and overall program objectives.
Ensure consistency of testing activities with the organisation’s QA governance framework.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Collaborate with project managers, product owners, business analysts, and functional/business stakeholders.
Communicate test progress, risks, and results clearly and proactively.
Represent testing in program-level discussions and steer quality-related decisions.

Test Coordination & Execution

Oversee testing activities across all phases (functional, integration, E2E).
Ensure full coverage of system workflows and business processes.
Assign responsibilities, support test execution, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Test Data Management

Organise and structure test data provisioning across systems under test.
Ensure compliance with data legislation, policies, and guidelines.
Apply industry best practices for secure and efficient test data handling.

Defect Management & Risk Mitigation

Track defect lifecycle and facilitate resolution with development teams.
Identify testing risks and define mitigation measures.
Escalate blockers or quality concerns where needed.

Reporting & Quality Assurance

Consolidate test results into actionable insights and reports.
Provide management-level reporting on readiness, risks, and quality trends.
Support Go/No-Go decisions with clear evidence and recommendations.

Contribution to QA Community

Actively participate in QA knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote consistency, best practices, and cross-team alignment within the QA community.

Qualifications

Professional Experience

Demonstrated experience designing and coordinating E2E test strategies and plans.
Ability to identify non-functional testing needs.
Strong understanding of test scope definition and test coverage assurance.
Proven experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
Ability to work autonomously and manage complex test environments independently.

Technical & Functional Skills

Solid understanding of key IT concepts (e.g., client/server, APIs, web services, front-end/back-end).
Proficient stakeholder management skills, including the ability to challenge constructively.
Familiarity with quality standards, test methodologies, and structured testing processes.

Languages

Strong command of English (working language).
Good proficiency in Dutch and/or French; additional languages are an asset.
