Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer

Overview
A well-established, multi-office professional services organization is seeking an Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to support and evolve its enterprise technology environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of core systems while contributing to ongoing modernization initiatives across cloud, identity, and endpoint platforms.

What You’ll Do
Architect, deploy, and support Microsoft 365 services, including identity management, conditional access, device management, collaboration tools, and file services
Administer and automate software deployment, updates, and patching using centralized endpoint and device management platforms
Proactively monitor infrastructure and endpoint environments to identify issues, troubleshoot failures, and ensure system stability
Partner with technical teams on server, network, and cloud-related initiatives as needed
Maintain accurate software licensing and asset inventories
Participate in after-hours maintenance, upgrades, and incident response when required
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
What You Bring
Technical Experience
Strong background supporting Windows-based infrastructure, Active Directory, DNS, and modern identity services
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and cloud migrations
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols in enterprise environments
Experience working with next-generation firewalls and cloud-managed networking platforms
Proficiency with PowerShell or similar scripting for automation and administration
Experience with virtualization technologies, storage systems, and disaster recovery strategies
Familiarity with collaboration platforms, document management systems, and enterprise productivity tools
Working knowledge of endpoint security, certificates, and access controls
Core Skills
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Strong documentation skills with the ability to tailor technical content to different audiences
Clear communicator who can translate complex concepts into practical guidance
Comfortable operating in production environments with competing priorities and deadlines
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience
Typically 5–7 years in systems, infrastructure, or cloud engineering roles
