Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into data warehouses and data marts.
Contribute to data warehousing and data integration initiatives, ensuring high data quality, consistency, and availability to support business intelligence and analytics.
Perform performance tuning and optimization of ETL workflows to meet scalability, reliability, and business performance requirements.
Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance, within agile delivery frameworks.
Collaborate closely with business analysts, data architects, and cross-functional development teams to understand requirements and deliver robust, high-quality data solutions.
Provide production support for existing DataStage jobs, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of issues.
Demonstrate strong expertise in IBM InfoSphere DataStage for ETL development and maintenance.
Utilize SQL extensively and work with relational databases such as Oracle to support data integration and reporting needs.
Apply in-depth knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing architecture, and data integration best practices.
Work in Unix/Linux environments, including developing and maintaining shell scripts as needed.
Apply data modeling concepts to support efficient and scalable data designs.
Operate effectively in agile environments and collaborate within DevOps-oriented processes when applicable.
