Sales & Marketing Director – FMCG / Product Brand

£90,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits Harlow, Essex (On‑site 3 days + travel as required) - Shortlisting now

We are recruiting a Sales & Marketing Director for a rapidly expanding, innovation‑driven product brand operating across retail, wholesale and online channels. This is a key board‑level leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion and commercial performance across the organisation. The ideal candidate will be a strategic yet hands‑on leader, experienced in high‑growth environments, acquisitions, and multi‑channel sales. You will lead a team of around 25 across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Amazon and New Product Development.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company’s Sales & Marketing strategy
Lead and develop a multi‑disciplinary team across Sales, Marketing & NPD
Drive revenue, market share, profitability and customer satisfaction
Identify and evaluate new markets, product opportunities and growth channels
Lead acquisition strategy including market analysis, due diligence and integration
Oversee brand positioning, marketing performance and digital strategy
Collaborate with Finance, Operations and the SLT to ensure aligned commercial delivery
Manage and optimise budgets for maximum ROI

Skills & Experience Required

10+ years’ experience in senior Sales & Marketing leadership roles
Strong background in FMCG or product‑based brand management
Experience across retail, wholesale and online sales channels
Proven track record of driving growth, acquisitions and market expansion
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills
Experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams
Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, practical approach
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and act on opportunities
