Job Title

Senior Full Stack Engineer (Backend Focus)

8+ years of professional software development experience

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to design, build, and scale high-performance web applications. You’ll own backend architecture while also contributing to frontend development using React.js. This role requires deep technical expertise, system-level thinking, and the ability to mentor engineers and drive best practices across the stack.

Key Responsibilities

Backend (Primary Focus)

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
Build and optimize RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL)
Design and manage MongoDB schemas, indexes, and performance tuning
Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of backend systems
Handle authentication, authorization, and data protection
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested backend code
Debug complex production issues and improve system reliability

Frontend

Develop and maintain user interfaces using React.js
Collaborate with designers and product teams to deliver seamless UX
Optimize frontend performance and state management
Ensure cross-browser and responsive compatibility

Architecture & Collaboration

Participate in system design discussions and technical decision-making
Review code and enforce best practices across the team
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on software development experience
Strong expertise in Node.js and backend architecture
Solid experience with MongoDB (schema design, indexing, optimization)
Proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience building scalable, production-grade APIs
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Familiarity with REST standards, API security, and performance optimization

Good to Have

Knowledge of microservices architecture
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of message queues, caching (Redis), or search systems
Prior experience in high-traffic or SaaS applications
